Ms. Matzkin’s professional experience is grounded in community advocacy, including programs supportive of mental and behavioral health, which gives her excellent insight into related program operations and challenges.  She has worked as a client advocate at the Taos Community Against Violence center, assisting with shelter operations and evaluations of client experiences and outcomes, and volunteered with and was subsequently employed by Youth Heartline's CASA program, conducting client/program evaluations as well as managing child and family advocacy initiatives.
