Bernalillo County Peer Drop-In Center: ABQ Center for Hope & Recovery (Dec 2024)

Pivot concluded a two-year program evaluation period with Albuquerque Center for Hope and Recovery (ACHR) in 2024 regarding their peer-run Drop-In Center in Albuquerque, producing the following report of program outcomes, implications, and opportunities for future directions.  ACHR provides drop-in and case management services to people experiencing and recovering from homelessness, addiction, and behavioral health challenges, with a focus on hope, humor and personal responsibility.

Tiny Home Village Program Evaluation (2024)

Pivot concluded a multi-year program evaluation of Bernalillo County’s Tiny Home Village in 2024, producing the following report of program processes, outcomes, and discussion. The Tiny Home Village includes 30 tiny houses with additional shared community facilities and green space in Albuquerque, that provides transitional living services to people experiencing homelessness and working on recovery from co-occurring challenges such as substance use and behavioral health needs.

BHI Crossroads for Women & Centro Sávila Evaluation Report (Fall 2023)

Pivot concluded a multi-year evaluation of peer-run Case Management services funded by Bernalillo County at Centro Sávila and Crossroads for Women (CRFW) in 2023.  Centro Sávila and CRFW facilitate case management for people in recovery from behavioral health and co-occurring challenges, staffed by Certified Peer Support Workers who have lived experience in similar life situations to provide expert support and perspective.

Bernalillo County Behavioral Health Initiative Tiny Home Village Program Evaluation Report (2023)

Pivot developed an evaluation of the Bernalillo County Tiny Home Village (THV) transitional living facility in 2022 collaboratively with BernCo staff, THV residents, and other stakeholders of program success. Pivot provided process evaluation regarding the Villager experience from application to residency to discharge, and proposed metrics for measuring program equity, fidelity, and outcomes.

BernCo BHI Technical Assistance: BHI-Wide Metrics Eval (Jan 2023)

Pivot collaborated with BernCo staff to conduct a process evaluation of the county’s own structure, funding practices, and communications. Pivot produced a report discussing the public health models applicable to county processes, principles of community funding to consider, and practical suggestions regarding county materials and decision-making.

BHI Peer Drop-In Center Program Evaluation: ACHR & NDYFS (Dec 2022)

Pivot initiated program evaluation collaborations with Bernalillo County by conducting an evaluation of two county-funded peer-led Drop-In Centers at Albuquerque nonprofits Albuquerque Center for Hope and Recovery (ACHR) and New Day Youth and Family Services (NDYFS). ACHR and NDYFS provide drop-in resources and services without fees or appointments for people experiencing behavioral health or associated life challenges who need accessible options for food, technology, clothing, hygiene, or simply a safe and welcoming place to spend time with others.
